Bio-Safety Cabinet & Glove Box
Bio Safety Cabinet
PHARMINTECH Bio Safety Cabinets (BSC) are designed to provide personnel, product, and environmental protection during critical material handling processes such as microbiological testing, aseptic compounding, and potent drug manipulation.

These cabinets maintain ISO Class 5 air cleanliness at the work zone through precision airflow & HEPA filtration.
Class II cabinets are the most widely used type, offering protection for personnel, product, and environment. They maintain laminar downflow air and exhaust contaminated air through HEPA filtration.
Variants:
- Type A1: 70% recirculated, 30% exhaust; negative pressure plenum.
- Type A2: 70% recirculated, 30% exhaust; exhaust through HEPA, suitable for volatile toxic chemicals if ducted.
- Type B1: 30% recirculated, 70% exhaust; suitable for work with small amounts of toxic chemicals.
- Type B2: 100% exhaust; no recirculation, maximum protection for hazardous chemical and biological work.
Applications: Microbiology labs, Pharmaceutical R&D, Aseptic compounding, Sterile testing.
Class III BSC (Glove Box)
Class III cabinets, also known as glove boxes, provide maximum protection. They are gas‑tight enclosures with HEPA‑filtered supply and exhaust, operated through glove ports to eliminate direct operator exposure.

Applications: High-risk microbiological work, handling of potent drugs, BSL‑3/BSL - 4 laboratories.
