Fume Hoods

PHARMINTECH Fume Hoods are local ventilation devices engineered to protect personnel and the environment from hazardous fumes, vapors, and airborne dust during chemical handling and laboratory operations. These units draw contaminated air from the open front face and expel it safely outside the building through a high-efficiency exhaust system.
Airflow Principle: Contaminated air is drawn in from the front opening and expelled through an external exhaust system, preventing backflow and operator exposure.
Construction:
- Powder Coated Steel or Stainless Steel SS 304 / SS 316 / SS 316L
- Internal lining: Chemical-resistant PP or FRP
- Toughened glass sash with counterweight mechanism (optional)
Filtration & Exhaust:
- FRP Exhaust Chimney with weather cowl, bends, flanges, and mounting brackets
- FRP Ducting with elbows and dampers for directional control
- High Flow FRP Blowers sized to maintain negative pressure and safe capture velocity
Controls & Electricals:
- Digital Control Panel with LED Display
- Integrated Electrical Raceway for lighting and auxiliary sockets
- Available in Flameproof / ATEX Proof Type with all FLP-rated electricals
